Snoring is very common and primarily disturbs your partner’s and relative’s sleep.

  • Anti-snore pillows or chin straps can be helpful.
  • Nose clips help the snorer to breathe more easily.
  • Partners can also agree on small signals – the snorer then automatically turns over onto his or her side.

A person who snores regularly and heavily has a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and experiencing respiratory arrest (sleep apnea). Losing excess weight, avoiding alcohol and sleep medications can help.Chronic respiratory tract infections may be best treated with surgery.
